"It’s a daily dose of humble pie, but worth every bite." - Bridgette Boucha
TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT YOURSELF:
After 15+ years working in financial executive roles (5 as a CFO) while trying to live my best life as a wife, friend, and generally sane person, it became smack-me-in-the-face obvious that what served me very well for so many years no longer did. It was time for creative destruction in my life, and I was in charge of the demo. The rebuild would require strength, balance, purpose and the result would be passion meeting business in ALL the best ways. It was time to create experiences that didn’t compete with personal and professional goals, but ones that would help us REACH them.
HOW DID YOU GET INVOLVED WITH THE BETTERMENT PROJECT?
I founded The Betterment Project to empower individuals and businesses to Make. Measurable. Progress. We don’t need leaps and bounds; we need FORWARD motion.
- Profitability Coaching: For businesses <50 employees to increase their profitability through a series of coaching sessions designed to facilitate action and create results. I fix what made me leave in the first place. Takes one to know one!
- FIT CLUB: For individuals who feel stuck in nutrition, fitness, and mindset. In my online fit community, we participate in monthly challenges, get free weekly recipes, and have a safe, private, inspirational space…just when we need it most! We are not meant to do this alone and we don’t have to.
- Mastermind: For women who are ready to find, keep, and evolve to their most high-performing selves while giving themselves grace throughout the process of setting, strategizing, and executing their professional goals. Atlanta, GA. Spring 2020. *Limited to 10 women.
- Speaking: Available for groups, organizations, corporate events, non-profits, schools & universities to create an experience delivered from the heart with tactical, tangible takeaways leaving the audience empowered to take action and improve their situation.
WHAT DO YOU FIND MOST CHALLENGING?
Nothing can prepare you for entrepreneurship. It’s not for everyone. You have to continually redefine your version of success and reduce the level of importance you place upon other people’s opinions. It’s a daily dose of humble pie, but worth every bite.
WHAT DO YOU FIND MOST REWARDING?
Connecting with others on a deeper level and experiencing the pure joy at every milestone on their journey to reach their personal and professional goals. There is NOTHING else like it!
WHEN DID YOU START THE BETTERMENT PROJECT?
WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE Q. TO KNOW ABOUT THIS?
Whether you’re seeking improvement in life or business, you’re essentially seeking the same thing. It’s all connected. You have a vision, a purpose, and a plan for yourself. It's my mission to help you bring it to the next level while continually raising the bar.
WHAT MIGHT SOMEONE BE SURPRISED TO KNOW ABOUT YOU?
My husband and I are serious homebodies, but I recently solo-traveled to Asia for 3 ½ weeks to do something “epic” for my 40th birthday. To be clear, I don’t do things like this, but I will be DOING more of this going forward! Something inside me woke up when I started chasing my dreams; I want to live a fuller life, create more experiences, and surround myself with the best damn people I can find.
WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU’RE NOT COACHING or SPEAKING?
I teach bootcamp, run, play sports, walk my Boston Terrier while listening to podcasts. I love to cook, eat, and drink wine!
AND FINALLY HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOURSELF?
I’ve always considered myself a hybrid. Part data geek; part social butterfly. Part glam; part don’t give a damn. Part good influence; part bad influence. Part conquer the world; part hide in a corner. Part WooWoo, part WooHoo. I believe we all have these sides of us and it’s important to appreciate every single one while we continually strive to shine.
